The Three Contacts Filter Statuses

  • New – Contact was just added; no interaction yet.
  • Qualified – Fits your ideal customer profile and is worth pursuing now.
  • Unqualified – Not a fit or not the right timing (reason is always logged).

When a contact becomes serious, simply create a Deal — your full custom sales pipeline takes over from there.

How to Use Contacts Filter

  1. Go to the Contacts page (under Customers).
  2. Find the contact in the list.
  3. Click the Menu button (three dots on the right).
  4. Choose Mark as Qualified / Unqualified → pick New, Qualified, or Unqualified.
  5. If you choose Unqualified, select the reason in one click.
  6. Click Save.

Create Simple Guidelines for Your Team

Monitor and Adjust

  • Update the filter status after every meaningful interaction.
  • Focus daily on Qualified contacts.
  • Let Unqualified contacts automatically pause sequences and disappear from active views.
  • Review reasons monthly to spot patterns (e.g., “most say no budget → adjust targeting”).
