Contacts Filter
The Contacts Filter lets you instantly separate real opportunities from noise. With just three clear statuses and one-click reason tracking, your team can qualify or rule out any contact in seconds — keeping your database permanently lean and high-quality.
Benefits of Contacts Filter
- Prioritize the Best Contacts – Instantly see who’s worth your time right now.
- Close Deals Faster – Your team focuses only on Qualified contacts instead of digging through clutter.
- Clear Picture – Know at a glance what’s New, Qualified, or safely Unqualified.
- No Wasted Effort – Unqualified contacts are paused and archived automatically.
- Works for Any Business – Simple enough for small teams, powerful enough for growing ones.
The Three Contacts Filter Statuses
- New – Contact was just added; no interaction yet.
- Qualified – Fits your ideal customer profile and is worth pursuing now.
- Unqualified – Not a fit or not the right timing (reason is always logged).
When a contact becomes serious, simply create a Deal — your full custom sales pipeline takes over from there.
Unqualified Reasons (logged automatically)
- No budget
- Wrong industry / size
- Bad fit
- No need / wrong timing
- Chose competitor
- Ghosted after multiple attempts
- Duplicate contact

Create Simple Guidelines for Your Team
| Status | When to use it |
|---|
| New | Fresh import, form submission, business card — no outreach yet. |
| Qualified | They replied, booked a meeting, or you confirmed they match your ICP. |
| Unqualified | Wrong size, no budget, went silent, chose a competitor, etc. |
Monitor and Adjust
- Update the filter status after every meaningful interaction.
- Focus daily on Qualified contacts.
- Let Unqualified contacts automatically pause sequences and disappear from active views.
- Review reasons monthly to spot patterns (e.g., “most say no budget → adjust targeting”).
Use in Your Daily Workflow
- Start your day in the Qualified view.
- Turn Qualified contacts into Deals with one click when they're ready to buy.
- Trust that everything else is either fresh (New) or safely parked (Unqualified).
Tips for Success
- Keep It Simple – Three statuses only. No exceptions.
- Always Pick a Reason when marking Unqualified — it takes half a second and gives you priceless data.
- Align Sales & Marketing on what “Qualified” actually means for your business.
- Stay Consistent – Update the status after every call or meeting.
- Celebrate the Shrink – Watch your contact list get lighter and your win rate get heavier.
