Delivering more value to users.
Customers
- Implemented lead management with the introduction of an all-new and shinny Leads Funnel. Customer records in Nnipa will now have a lead status of either new, engaged, qualified, opportunity, customer or disqualified to enable scoring for potential customers. The various lead statuses and what they mean are all explained in the user documentation.
- Implemented External IDs to enable linking customer records in Nnipa with external systems. Learn more about External IDs from the user documentation.
- Implemented filtering contacts by group and custom field, as well as, ordering results.
- The User Experience when importing contacts from your Google account has been greatly improved. Already imported contacts should now be excluded from new imports. Users will now also see a helpful message when their Google account integration expires and a way to refresh the connection.
Sales
- The Pipeline view has been redesigned and its underlining technology has been upgrade to a much better version. This ensures a reliable experience across both desktop and mobile. Also, there's now a menu option to easily move a deal to another stage in the pipeline.
- Deals now shows the currency its created in when being edited.
Files
- There's now a new file management module (Files) similar to Google Drive or Dropbox to enable management and sharing files right within Nnipa. It's currently available to only beta users, soon to be made generally available.
Website
- Added a What is a CRM section to the homepage to educate visiters still new to CRM software.
- User documentation got some love. There's now a getting started guide (still work in progress) for new users to familiarize themselves with Nnipa. This is part of our effort to improvement the first time learning experience for our users with a simple and easy to use guide.
- Added a waitlist for the upcoming Nnipa API.
- In case you missed it, we wrote a new post on Why Nnipa Chose to Focus on Being a Great CRM instead of an everything software for everyone. This reflects our focus to build the best possible CRM experience for our users.
- Updated screenshots and copy on the website to reflect new features and changes in Nnipa. Things are moving fast.
And More...
- Activities: The activity details view has been redesigned and logs should now show a link to the related entities affected such as the affected file, contact, task, etc.
- As always, there's been many under-the-hood general fixes and improvements that might go unnoticed. All these to ensure an improve user experience.

New Interactions feature, UX refinements and quality of life improvements.
- Contact notes is now renamed to "Interactions" and with support for tracking calls, emails, WhatsApp, and meetings.
- Implement filters for CRM contact - filter by group and or custom field.
- Implemented newly designed account menus for both marketing pages and dashboard.
- Dashboard: Rewrote all context menus with improved logic to behave consistently and work well across desktop and mobile.
- Campaigns: Improved logic for batching email campaigns to enable them to scale for large volumes.

New pricing model and quality of life improvements
- Introduced a new pricing model for Nnipa.
- Updated copy on marketing pages to reflect Nnipa's new pricing model. Also to further simplify the language and add more clarity.
- Updates to our FAQ to reflect our new pricing model and features.
- Custom Fields: Update to URL field type display. Links will now show icons for known websites such as Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, and Jiji.
- CRM: You can now indicate whether a customer's phone number is available on WhatsApp during creation or update to show a direct link to chat with customer.
- Sales pipeline: Updated the badge label for deals still in progress from "Active" to "Progressing".
- Sales pipeline: You can now mark a deal stage to signify "Won" or "Lost". Deals moved to those will be updated accordingly.

- Dashboard: Reorder sidebar menu items
- Dashboard: Changed "Teams" sidebar menu item to "Members".
- Dashboard: Updated the "Getting Started" tour on the dashboard overview page.
- Billing: You can now pay for your subscription manually from your billing page after expiry when auto billing fails. This can be of use in cases such low funds at the time of charge initiation or retry.
- Billing: You can now see account members whose subscriptions have not been charged or whose accounts are suspended due to non-payment.
- Implemented a form for newsletters subscription on the homepage in addition to the page footer.
- WhatsApp is now added to the official support channels for Nnipa.
